It goes without saying that the flip side of free and autonomous research is regular and effective evaluation ensuring that the standards of excellence which are a hallmark of research at Sciences Po are maintained.

We regularly evaluate our researchers, research units and centres in keeping with the French research evaluation law of 18th April 2006.

Amongst other things, this is the law which created a French Agency for Research and Higher Education Evaluation : the AERES.

Previously, Sciences Po was evaluated by the CNE . See the last evaluation report September 2005 (in French).
