Who we are

Sciences Po Expertise et Conseil

• Is a research consultancy set up by Sciences Po.
• Is a simplified joint-stock company (SAS) with a share capital of €37 000.
• Is a natural extension of the rich history of achievements and innovations of its sole shareholder, the Fondation nationale des sciences politiques (FNSP), set up in 1946 as the successor to the Ecole libre des sciences politiques created in 1871.
• Designs tailor-made services meeting its clients' requirements and in this way contributes to wider dissemination of social sciences research.
• Mobilizes skills to accomplish the missions entrusted to it.

Activity

• Consists of supporting its clients in their strategic reflection and decision-making processes., with a very specific approach built around:
• Assembling all the relevant data (context, trends in socioeconomic behaviour and markets) required to analyze the determining factors of complex situations, the associated risks and ongoing developments.
• Identifying trends offering development potential.
• Contributing to decision making.

Shares and CIO

• The society is chaired by the FNSP (Fondation Nationale des Sciences Politiques - French political science research institution) it's unique share holder
• The FNSP is represented by its administrator, Richard Descoings, Director of the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris (IEP), commonly known as Sciences Po.
• Alexia de Monterno, Executive Education Director, is in charge of the development of the company.
